Ginja Roe

Megan Doherty, Pamela Wouters, Mark D’Rozario
I'm seldom blown away these days by artists, having seen so many, managed a
few, organised events for them and played with them on stage... but I'm literally
blown away by these 3....I'm now working
with them to assist with the journey...
These fine young musicians
are not the next 'anything' (read Waifs/Beatles/Missy Higgins) they are simply
brilliant...
and I don't make that statement lightly... they will definitely impress you....
So now imagine if you took 3 Maton guitars, some raw Australian talent, some beautiful harmonies and mixed ‘em all together for a taste of Ginja Roe. If you are familiar with the Waifs, Missy Higgins, Kasey Chambers and other great Ozzie women. If you like a little Joni Mitchell with a slice of...say... Simon and Garfunkel ... then hold your breath…. These 2 young ladies and a guy from Melbourne’s South East will take you into those familiar sounds and to places you’ve never been before…. An original blend of new material plus a short visit to some well known music with a Meg and Pam twist… all strung together with Mark’s awesome guitar work…
David Briggs has just finished mastering their current CD and it's worth a listen... you can check out a little more about the girls on the web page.
